Job summary

Vast is seeking an Operations Specialist to support daily office and operational needs at our Long Beach campus. You will assist with moves and setups, stock shelves, and ensure workspaces are organized and safe to support mission-critical activities.

In this full-time, non-exempt role, you will lift up to 40 lbs, coordinate with teams, follow safety procedures, and help with onboarding setups and events. California pay range listed: $24.50–$42 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in operations, facilities, workplace services, logistics, hospitality, or related hands-on support role.
• Ability to follow clear instructions and complete assigned tasks.
• Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Assist with organizing, moving, and staging equipment and supplies.
• Assemble furniture and prepare workstations for new hires.
• Support onboarding setups and daily workspace readiness.
• Stock office, shop, and operational supplies as needed.
• Assist with event setup and breakdown.
• Perform basic equipment moves up to 40 lbs unassisted.
• Complete tickets, checklists, and daily task lists.
• Escalate issues to senior team members.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures.
• Support general office and operations tasks as assigned.
