Job summary

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of program or project management experience in complex software development
• Direct experience program-managing software teams through active development and live/operational phases
• Strong systems thinker with cross-team interdependencies and hardware interfaces
• Comfortable operating in hardware environments and familiar with spacecraft or robotics contexts
• Proficient in programming to build internal tools (Python/TS/Go) and automate workflows
• Self-directed and able to work with limited oversight; clear communicator to leadership

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the software development schedule across Nav Service, Mission Ops, and flight software
• Coordinate across software and hardware teams to align interfaces and milestones
• Support release management and dependency tracking to ensure smooth deployments
• Identify automation opportunities and build tooling to reduce manual overhead
• Maintain risk registers and escalate blockers with recommended paths forward
• Prepare program status updates for leadership with accurate schedule health metrics
• Contribute to lightweight PM processes and adapt TPM practices to a small, fast-moving team
• Maintain hardware fluency to understand how bus/payload milestones affect software
