Job summary

Axiom Space is seeking a seasoned Software Safety Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary team focused on mission and flight safety for the Axiom Station. You will analyze software architectures, define safe computer control strategies, and participate in safety reviews and verification activities.

You will collaborate with systems engineering, V&V, and external partners to ensure safety-critical software meets stringent requirements in a space environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Experience analyzing and evaluating systems for safety-critical functions.
• Ability to plan, perform analyses, and report results.

Responsibilities

• Conduct system-level safety analysis for software and architecture.
• Determine safe computer control strategies in critical operations.
