Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Graphics Simulation Software Engineer–Level 3 or 4 in Dulles, VA. You will develop spacecraft 3D models and graphics software across the full lifecycle, using C/C++, Python and tools like Blender, OpenSceneGraph, OpenGL, and Vulkan.

Onsite work only; security clearances and agile methods are valued. Experience modeling sensors and space environments, CI/CD tools, and Windows/Linux proficiency are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• Active TS clearance required; U.S. citizenship required.
• 3D graphics experience with OpenSceneGraph/OpenGL/Vulkan.
• Proficient in C/C++ and Python; model and simulate environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop spacecraft simulation software across the full lifecycle.
• Create models and simulations to support multiple projects.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate space vehicle modeling.
• Prepare design docs, analyses, test results and customer materials.
