Job summary

Argotec is seeking an Electrical Test Engineer II in California to lead the electrical test activities for the UST-Lite SDR. You will develop verification plans, assemble test equipment racks, and create test software in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team.

You will own the full test campaign, coordinate with systems, hardware, FPGA, and software engineers, and drive test readiness through TRRs and documentation. Strong RF testing and Python automation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years direct experience in testing space flight hardware.
• U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Residency is required.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own integration and test (I&T) of the SDR.
• Perform RF/microwave measurements and BER testing.
• Develop verification activities and test plans from requirements.
• Assemble and configure test equipment racks and EGSE.
• Develop EGSE test software and automation routines (Python).
• Collaborate with hardware, FPGA, and software engineers to validate interfaces.
• Lead Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs) and support design reviews.
