Job summary

Blue Origin in Merritt Island, FL is seeking an experienced RF test engineering lead to own the full RF test strategy for the Lunar Transfer Stage. You will drive planning, development, and execution of RF campaigns ensuring safe, repeatable spaceflight and test integrity.

You will interpret RF requirements, select and configure test equipment, and lead cross‑functional teams across test events while upholding safety and quality standards in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical/Aerospace Engineering, Physics or related field.
• 8+ years in RF test engineering with leadership of RF campaigns.
• Experience interpreting RF requirements and designing end-to-end tests.
• Hands-on experience with RF test equipment and calibration.
• Experience with free-radiating RF tests and EMI/EMC considerations.
• U.S. citizenship or residency status as required.

Responsibilities

• Own the full RF test campaign lifecycle — from requirements interpretation and test campaign design through execution, data reduction, analysis, and closure
• Interpret RF system requirements and translate them into comprehensive test strategies and verification approaches
• Plan and execute functional and performance RF test campaigns across multiple frequency bands
• Establish and maintain RF test system calibration processes and traceability
• Develop, review, and approve test plans, procedures, and reports for RF verification activities
• Lead test readiness reviews, briefings, and anomaly investigations for RF test campaigns
