Job summary

Blue Origin in Merritt Island, Florida is seeking an RF Test Engineering Lead to own the full RF test campaign lifecycle for the Lunar Transfer Stage. You will translate requirements into test strategies, select equipment, plan campaigns across multiple frequency bands, and drive calibration and safety into every flight test.

The role demands deep technical expertise, proven leadership, and a commitment to quality in a fast-paced, NASA-aligned program.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics or related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in RF test engineering with leadership of RF test campaigns.
• Experience interpreting RF system requirements and designing end-to-end RF test campaigns.
• Hands-on experience planning and executing RF tests across multiple frequency bands.

Responsibilities

• Own the full RF test campaign lifecycle—from requirements interpretation through design, execution, data reduction, analysis and closure.
• Translate RF system requirements into comprehensive test strategies and verification approaches.
• Plan and execute functional and performance RF tests across multiple frequency bands and environments.
• Establish and maintain RF test calibration processes ensuring measurement integrity and safety of flight hardware.
• Lead test readiness reviews, briefings, and anomaly investigations for RF campaigns.
