Job summary

Leidos is seeking an RF Communications Engineer to support lunar terrain vehicle programs. You’ll integrate RF hardware into an end-to-end system, perform simulations and EMC testing, and help translate strategy into detailed requirements within a multi-disciplinary team.

Experience with RF link budgets and space-qualified transceivers is essential. Willingness to travel 10–20% and U.S. citizenship for security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent with 5+ years of experience; Master’s with 3+ years; PhD with substitution allowed.
• Experience developing RF link budgets and with space-based transceivers, antennas, and amplifiers.
• Hands-on RF simulation/analysis tools experience (HFSS, CST, ADS).

Responsibilities

• Support subsystem integration, qualification and testing of RF communications hardware.
• Translate product development strategies into system requirements and work with multi-discipline teams.
• Contribute to design dispositions and resolve documentation discrepancies with Lunar Outpost and team members.
