Résumé du poste

Lunar Outpost Inc. seeks a Principal RF Engineer to lead RF systems development for space robotics and lunar missions. You will architect complex RF architectures, guide testing, and shape mission-critical communications for LTV and lunar assets.

Join a fast-moving startup environment with NASA and industry partners as you design, simulate, test, and validate RF subsystems, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-reliability performance across Ka-, S-, and X-band links.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of RF systems to design, analyze, and test complex RF architectures.
• Hands-on experience in architecting RF systems and test equipment racks.
• Ability to define, execute, and document RF tests against requirements.
• Experience creating detailed RF test plans and coordinating resources.
• Proficient with RF test equipment (analyzers, generators, power meters).
• Bachelore28099s degree in electrical engineering.
• U.S. Person.

Responsabilités

• Serve as RF SME, provide technical leadership and design reviews.
• Perform electromagnetic simulation and analysis for satellite and rover apps.
• Design, develop, and integrate RF subsystems meeting requirements (Ka/S/X band).
• Conduct RF trade studies to inform design decisions.
• Build, integrate, and test RF hardware including antennas and payload comms.
• Develop RF/antenna test plans and simulations (VSWR, gain, patterns).
• Build and analyze link budgets for space-to-Earth comms.
• Model antenna co-site and interference relationships.
