Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking an Assembly, Integration, and Test IPT Lead – Staff Engineer – to oversee the AI&T process for space-based RADAR payloads (ESA and Processing Subsystem) in Linthicum, MD. The role calls for strong technical leadership and cross-disciplinary collaboration to meet performance, schedule, and cost targets.

Qualifications

• BS degree in STEM with 12 years experience (or MS with 10 years, PhD with 7 years).
• Active RF or sensor integration and test experience, preferably RADAR/SIGINT/COMMS.
• Technical and people leadership including planning, scheduling, staffing, and progress reporting.
• Ability to obtain U.S. Government Top Secret clearance and SCI access.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-discipline assembly, integration, and test efforts toward rapid system development.
• Develop System I&T documentation (test plans, segment tests, compatibility tests).
• Establish system test schedules, resource planning, and cross-IPT coordination.
• Coordinate with engineering and production to implement effective I&T processes.
• Monitor issues and provide timely resolutions during assembly and integration.
• Track progress and report status, risks, and milestones to stakeholders.
• Train, mentor, and guide team members to foster continuous improvement.
