Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Linthicum, MD is seeking a Senior Staff Systems Engineer to support assembly, integration, and test (AI&T) of our production space RADAR payload program.

As the primary technical advisor, you will coordinate between the Payload AI&T team and the Flight Software development and I&T teams, monitor issues, and mentor the team to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• BS in STEM with relevant experience in space systems.
• Experience planning, executing, and analyzing AI&T campaigns.
• Experience integrating embedded firmware, flight software, and hardware.
• Eligibility for TS/SCI clearance; no start clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Primary technical advisor and interface between the Payload AI&T team and the Flight Software (FSW) development and FSW I&T teams
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues during AI&T, providing timely resolutions
• Train, mentor, and guide team members, fostering continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
