Job summary
Umbra is seeking a Program Manager to lead complex government programs, ensuring cost, schedule, and technical performance meet objectives and contractual commitments. You will manage integrated plans, budgets, forecasts, and risk while partnering with engineering, product, finance, contracts, and operations to ensure successful delivery.
Strong leadership, judgment, and relationship-building are essential as you collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive program success
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CS, Business or related field.
- 5–8+ years in program management, with DoD/aerospace exposure preferred.
- Active TS/SCI with recent read-in required.
- Proven ability to lead complex programs and cross‑functional teams.
- Experience with government captures, proposals, and business development.
Responsibilities
- Oversee multiple contracts to meet cost, schedule, and technical goals.
- Develop integrated program plans, schedules, budgets, and risk plans.
- Collaborate with engineering, product management, finance, contracts, and operations.
- Lead agile ceremonies and drive continuous improvement of processes.
- Build trusted relationships with customers and leadership.
