DEFTEC Corporation in the United States is seeking a Space Programme Senior Management Support to assist the ACT Space Branch PMT in delivering NATO CPP initiatives across all tranches and projects. The Space Program Senior Management Support position, reporting directly to the Branch Head, supports the ACT Space Branch Program Management Team (PMT) in the delivery, synchronization, and implementation of the NATO Space Capability Program (CPP) across all tranches and associated projects, coordinating program execution between HQ SACT, SHAPE, AIRCOM Space Theatre Component (STC), NCIA, NSPA, nations, and commercial partners. The role supports the development of key program artefacts, including project proposals, implementation plans, program reviews, risk registers, dashboards, and capability roadmaps, and helps synchronize Operational Space Support (OSS), Space Domain Awareness (SDA), and Space Domain Coordination (SDC) capabilities and their dependencies, while contributing to program governance activities, PMT meetings, Bi-SC coordination mechanisms, and senior leader engagements. Additional duties include identifying and mitigating program risks and interdependencies, supporting experimentation, wargaming, and exercises such as Arctic Sentry and Cosmic Sentinel, coordinating with NCIA architects and national experts on architecture development and Analysis of Alternatives, supporting industry engagement in line with the NATO Commercial Space Strategy, and producing reports and briefings for Branch leadership, with travel of up to 30 days per year required, all supported by experience in NATO capability development, program management, or defense acquisition, knowledge of NATO Space policy and CPP governance, operational and capability development experience in C2 systems, and familiarity with configuration management, capability architectures, and tools such as IBM Rational DOORS.
