Job summary

SAIC seeks a Facilities/IT Integrator in Chantilly, VA to support cutting-edge space programs. You will work on-site with Government staff to ensure efficient operation and maintenance of facilities supporting program office activities.

The role requires 4–6 years in facility management and IT system administration, with certifications (CompTIA A+ and Security+). TS/SCI clearance is required; salary targets reflect defense sector norms and on-site responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience or Master's with 3+ years
• 4-6 years of facility management experience with knowledge of mechanical/electrical/building systems
• Experience managing facility operations and coordinating service delivery teams
• Proficient in base building systems and building automation (Chiller, Boiler, electrical)
• Experience with IT network architecture and troubleshooting
• IT administration certifications (TS/SCI clearance required)

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations, maintenance, and repairs of program office suite.
• Develop and oversee program office budgets for utilities, maintenance, and capital improvements.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, and suppliers for program office suite.
• Conduct inspections, address safety hazards, and implement preventive maintenance programs for program office suite.
• Respond to emergencies and oversee resolution efforts for program office facility-related issues.
• Manage program office facility software and hardware systems required for program office oversight.
• Perform system maintenance, updates, troubleshooting, and reliability improvements for the program office suite.
• Collaborate with IT to integrate program office facility systems with enterprise platforms.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating system workstations in support of program office business processing requirements.
• Maintain organizational inventory and physical accountability of equipment.
• Perform program office software installations and upgrades to operating systems and software packages.
• Schedule program office system installations and upgrades and maintain them per IT policies.
• Ensure workstation data integrity by evaluating and implementing appropriate software/hardware solutions.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive OS hardware/software configuration library for the program office.
• Maintain a continuous monitoring effort for incidents and service requests to ensure quality of service.
• Provide real-time updates to customers regarding incidents or service requests.
• Maintain access to PLx, NMIS, and unclass workstations and all programs used to assist the program office users.
