Job summary

SAIC seeks an Operations Facility & Logistics Engineer in Chantilly, VA to blend project management with facilities operations for a sensitive space program. You’ll ensure readiness, lifecycle cost control, and secure operations across sites.

The role requires coordinating with government and contractor teams, managing facilities plans, and supporting secure communications networks. TS/SCI clearance and DoD satellite program experience are desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 9+ years of experience in DoD or satellite programs.
• Experience in operations management and SAP environments.
• TS/SCI clearance required.
• Ability to lead cross-site coordination with government and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Define and stand up an operations center for a major space system.
• Lead facility location, capabilities, and integrated logistics for the ops center.
• Coordinate daily with internal and external stakeholders.
• Serve as primary point of contact for leadership to support mission execution.
• Develop facilities plans and manage communications networks for secure ops.
