Job summary

Sierra Space Corporation seeks a Legislative Affairs Manager to join the Government Relations team in Arlington, VA. The role will conduct advanced policy research, analyze federal budgeting processes, and develop advocacy strategies.

You will represent Sierra Space externally at industry events and government meetings, shaping engagement with DoD and NASA stakeholders. You will lead and mentor junior team members while managing multiple deadlines and coordinating with internal partners to align

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Typically 5+ years of related experience, including time on Capitol Hill or within U.S. government agencies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced research, analyzes data, and develops strategies to influence public policy and legislative action.
• Monitor and analyze federal government activity, including legislation, regulations, and budget processes (DoD and NASA focus).
• Prepare detailed reports, briefs, and presentations for the Government Relations team.
• Represent Sierra Space at industry events, government meetings, and with customer audiences.
