Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Palm Bay, FL seeks a Scientist, Integration and Test Engineer to lead test operations across space payload programs. You will plan, oversee, and optimize integration activities, partnering with engineering, manufacturing, and program management to deliver mission hardware on schedule.

You will develop test strategies, verification approaches, and roadmaps while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required with 12+ years of relevant experience; graduate degree with 10+ years is equivalent.
Active U.S. Government TS/SCI security clearance required.

Responsibilities

Lead planning, execution, and optimization of integration and test operations across multiple programs.
Develop enterprise-wide test strategies, plans, and verification approaches in collaboration with PM and engineering.
Oversee daily activities of the Integration and Test Engineering team to ensure technical accuracy and safety standards.
Coordinate test readiness, sequences, and campaigns with proper configuration management.
Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve issues impacting schedules and performance.
Serve as primary test operations interface for leadership and customers on integration/test matters.
Track program performance, risks, resources, and milestones; communicate mitigation plans.
Support technical proposals and Basis of Estimate development as required.
Travel on-site to test facilities and partner sites up to 10–20%.
