Job summary

QinetiQ US seeks a Senior Special Operations Planner Team Lead embedded with USSPACECOM at Peterson Space Force Base, CO. You will lead a team delivering CONOPs, COAs, and operational orders to senior leadership, coordinating with COR and government executives.

Responsibilities include directing planners, ensuring timely contract deliverables, and integrating STO/SAP capabilities into plans. Requires TS/SCI clearance and 15+ years in operational planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in a relevant discipline required.
• 15+ years of operational planning in SOF/joint/Combatant Command.
• 3+ years in supervisory or lead roles with planners/analysts.
• Experience delivering CONOPs, COAs, and OPLANs to senior leadership.
• Experience integrating STO/SAP into combatant command plans.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for SES audiences.
• Active TS/SCI clearance; COR/COTR interaction experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Special Operations Planners in a high-visibility HQ role.
• Direct development of operational and strategic planning products.
• Coordinate with directorates, interagency partners, and allies.
• Deliver decision-ready products and briefings for senior leaders.
• Support real-world operations, exercises, and wargames.
