Job summary

QinetiQ US in Colorado Springs is seeking an experienced Special Operations Planner as an embedded contractor supporting USSPACECOM headquarters. You will lead and produce decision-ready products for senior leadership under tight deadlines, integrating STO/SAP capabilities into space operations plans.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree, 10+ years in operational planning at a high-level command, and active TS/SCI clearance with SIPRNet/JWICS proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in strategic studies, political science, engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of operational planning experience at a special operations or command HQ.
• Experience with JPP/JOPES/MDMP and STO/SAP integration.
• Strong written and oral communication under time pressure.
• Proficiency with SIPRNet and JWICS.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead planning across Joint Planning Process (JPP) and develop CONOPs/COAs.
• Integrate STO/SAP capabilities into USSPACECOM plans and CONPLANs.
• Coordinate with Directorates, interagency partners, and other Commands.
• Produce decision-ready briefings, staff packages, and planning summaries.
