Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 14+ years in space ops, DoD mission areas.
• Master's or PhD with substantial experience also accepted.
• Experience translating operator needs into clear requirements.
• Active TS clearance with in-scope T5/SSBI and SCI eligibility; polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Provide operations expertise to requirements development, systems design, software development, test planning and execution, systems integration, fielding, and C2 analysis.
• Engage directly with NSDC operators and mission partners to capture operational needs and translate into requirements.
• Develops and provides academic instruction, field training, or war games.
• Coordinate operational participation in demos, tests, exercises, and fielding activities.
• Gather, process, and analyze military data to support planning and decision-making.
• Identify and resolve integration issues across software, data, interfaces, infrastructure, cybersecurity and workflows.
• Provide operational insight to PMs, SEs, software teams, and leadership.
• Support synchronization of program roadmaps, releases, training, and transition activities.
• Apply knowledge of Software Acquisition Pathway and DevOps practices.
• Use Jira and Confluence to maintain traceability of requirements, actions, risks, and fielding status.
• Develop solutions to complex operational and integration problems with sound judgment.
• Adaptable professional navigating dynamic, fast-paced environments.
