Job summary

Apex Technology, Inc. is seeking a security-focused engineer to lead RMF authorization for space vehicle and classified cloud systems. You will build evidence, tailor control baselines, and coordinate with assessors while supporting continuous monitoring across multiple domains.

Candidate experience spans RMF, space or embedded systems, and DoD environments; advance to senior roles with exposure to TS clearance and mission-critical aerospace programs.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required for export-controlled data.
• Top Secret clearance with SCI/SAP eligibility preferred.
• Experience with RMF, security compliance, cloud or software engineering.
• Strong ability to analyze, document, and defend security architecture.

Responsibilities

• Own or contribute to authorization packages for space vehicle and classified cloud.
• Coordinate assessments and manage POA&M and continuous monitoring.
• Define authorization boundaries and tailor control baselines with rationale.
• Translate artifacts into evidence suitable for assessment and audits.
• Develop evidence data models and OSSCAL-based mappings across baselines.
