Job summary

Sigmatech is seeking a Mission Protection engineer to support STARCOM's 3 TES at Schriever SFB, CO. You will identify evolving threats, analyze countermeasures, and monitor space assets to enhance domain awareness.

Required space operations experience, strong briefing and writing skills, and STK familiarity. Open-source and IC reporting analysis capabilities are essential; SAP experience and polygraph are a plus. Salary ranges from $125,000 to $140,000, with factors affecting offers.

Qualifications

BS in a technical/analytical field; MS preferred.
8 yrs of space operations experience.
Extensive experience with Microsoft tools.
Advanced briefing and writing skills.
Space operations/orbital warfare experience may substitute education.
Ability to analyze open source information and IC reporting (NSA Pulse, CIA WIRE, NASIC, DIA).
Experience with Satellite Tool Kit (STK) for pre/post mission analysis and briefings.
Special Access Program experience desired; counter‑intelligence polygraph preferred.

Responsibilities

Identify new and evolving threats for current and future space-based capabilities.
Analyze denial/deception and Perception Management techniques.
Monitor space assets to aid domain awareness for operations and tactics.
Develop procedures to mitigate mission attribute compromise.
Create scenarios using STK for pre/post mission analysis and briefings.
Coordinate periodic signature measurement campaigns (RF/ radar/ optical).
