Job summary

Loft Orbital is seeking a Technical Program Manager, Customer Delivery to translate product development into customer value across engineering, product and operations. You’ll own Mission Development Plans, manage the Customer Offering Portfolio, and work with CDEs to ensure capabilities are ready for missions.

This hands-on, cross-functional role requires guiding launches, engaging with senior customers, and improving processes to deliver reliable orbital missions on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• 8 years of professional experience in technical program, product, or engineering roles.
• 3 years as an Engineering Program Manager (EPM) or Product-focused Technical Program Manager (TPM).
• Experience deploying products into production or operational environments and managing releases.
• Experience in the satellite or aerospace industry with knowledge of spacecraft systems and mission operations.
• Experience working with external customers including executive-level stakeholders.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to translate complex tech for customers and executives.
• Excellent communication and prioritization skills to manage multiple parallel workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Own the Mission Development Plan coordinating work packages with contributing teams to meet launch deadlines.
• Manage the Customer Offering Portfolio and drive new capability development with product and engineering teams.
• Partner with Customer Delivery Engineers to ensure the capabilities and tooling needed for missions are in place.
• Represent operational and customer constraints in product planning and deploy new features into operations.
• Drive cross-functional coordination, report risks and blockers, and align leadership and customers on progress.
• Engage directly with customers up to executive level on scope, schedule, and capability tradeoffs.
• Continuously improve Customer Delivery processes, templates, and workflows to increase efficiency.
