Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in King of Prussia, PA is seeking a full-time, early career Mechanical Engineer to join our team. You will research, design, analyze, and develop components, assemblies, and systems for Space products, under senior engineers, and contribute to hardware development and testing activities.

You will produce drawings using CAD, participate in design reviews, and collaborate with manufacturing, suppliers, and customers as part of an integrated product team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical modeling tools: SolidWorks, CREO or CATIA.
• Must be a US citizen and able to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance.
• 1–2 years professional experience in mechanical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, analyze, and develop components, assemblies, and systems for Space products.
• Participate in issue resolution and develop solutions to technical problems.
• Generate and release drawings using CAD software.
• Be a member of an integrated product team with engineers, manufacturing, suppliers, and customers.
• Represent the organization in design reviews and readiness reviews.
