Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Mechanical Engineering professional to research, design, and develop mechanical products and systems, including mechanisms and thermal systems, for production and testing. You will work within a collaborative team environment to drive engineering solutions that enable secure, advanced space capabilities.

Able to travel as needed and to obtain a government security clearance; US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Experience utilizing Creo software.
• Ability to work in a reciprocal and team-based environment.
• Willingness to travel when required.
• Ability to obtain a Government issued security clearance; US Citizen required.

Responsibilities

• Researches, plans, designs and develops mechanical products and systems such as instruments, controls, robots, engines, machines.
• Applies research to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical/electromechanical systems and components.
