Job summary

nLogic seeks a senior Systems Engineer to lead ICD development for space and ground interfaces in an MBSE environment. You will work with CM, ERBs/CCBs and cross-disciplinary teams to produce interface diagrams, data dictionaries, and mappings. The role requires TS/SCI clearance, a B.E.

in engineering, and extensive DoD program experience. On-site in El Segundo, CA with competitive benefits. Preferred Master’s degree and MBSE certifications are a plus; strong writing and communication skills are

Qualifications

8+ years in satellite systems, spacecraft development or aerospace engineering
8+ years on DoD programs
5+ years MBSE and architecture modeling
Experience developing/Managing ICDs for complex systems
Knowledge of spacecraft subsystems and flight hardware

Responsibilities

Lead ICD development for spacecraft, ground systems, payloads and cross-system interfaces in MBSE
Coordinate with CM for ERBs and CCBs
Develop interface diagrams, data dictionaries and mappings
Identify interface risks and drive issue resolution across teams
Support system integration with authoritative interface documentation
Ensure compliance with standards and regulations
Review Prime contract Change Proposals as SME
Coordinate ICWGs and stakeholder communications
Collaborate with MSEIT modeling to align models with baselines
Prepare acquisition and technical requirement briefings for Gov’t decisions
