Job summary

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a Strategic MBSE Requirements & ICD Lead in El Segundo, CA. You will lead the development of important Interface Control Documents in a collaborative environment, supporting the Air Force's satellite communication systems.

The ideal candidate has over 8 years of relevant experience, an engineering degree, and an active TS/SCI security clearance. The position offers a salary range of $135,000 to $169,000 per year along with a full suite of benefits.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience working on DoD programs.
• 5+ years of experience with model‑based systems engineering (MBSE).
• Familiarity with spacecraft subsystems and flight hardware.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Development of Satellite Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
• Work closely with Configuration Management team.
• Develop interface diagrams, data dictionaries, and message formats.

Skills

Active TS/SCI clearance

8+ years of experience in satellite systems

Proficiency in systems engineering tools

Demonstrated ability to lead a small technical team

Strong technical writing and communication skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering
