Strategic Alliance Business Group (SABG) is looking for a Space Modeling and Simulations Engineer (Level II, III, or IV) to support the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) in Chantilly, VA. Candidates must have an active TS/SCI with Poly clearance and possess a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics.
The successful candidate will develop simulation models of spacecraft systems, conduct studies on sensor phenomenology, and perform orbital mechanics modeling among other responsibilities. Experience in Python programming and aerospace systems is essential. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in a low to moderate noise office environment.

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret governmental regulations; write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals; effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations; solid understanding of basic mathematical concepts and the ability to apply them in proposal development.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; question activities and issues in all functional areas to make sound business decisions based on that data.
The physical demands described include sitting, talking, hearing, writing, typing, walking, using hands to handle or reach, occasionally standing, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; specific vision abilities required include close vision.
The work environment is a manufacturing/office setting using standard office equipment; the noise level is usually low to moderate.
