Job summary

Cowboy Space Corp. is building the infrastructure to power and connect the orbital economy. We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to bridge engineering teams and drive a launch vehicle program from development through production.

You will own the master schedule, track costs, run standups, and ensure blockers are resolved before they slow progress. You’ll coordinate cross-disciplinary work, maintain clear documentation, and keep leadership aligned with a bias toward action in a fast-paced

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in program management, systems engineering, or technical operations.
  • Strong technical intuition and understanding of propulsion concepts.
  • Exceptional communication skills, especially written.
  • Bias toward action and ability to work with ambiguity.
  • Experience with scheduling tools (MS Project or Smartsheet).
  • Organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain the integrated program schedule across propulsion, structures, avionics, and vehicle design.
  • Track costs against budget and flag variances early.
  • Run standups, syncs, and program reviews — keep them short and useful.
  • Identify blockers between teams and broker timely resolutions.
  • Sequence work across disciplines to align long-lead items and reviews.
  • Create and maintain decision logs, action items, and interface agreements.
  • Communicate status up and down and sideways to keep everyone informed.
