Job summary

SAIC seeks an experienced Project Manager to support modernization of space launch ranges, ensuring mission requirements and range capabilities for the Assured Access to Space (AATS) mission. The role is located in Cape Canaveral, FL, focusing on system modernization and digital transformation to accelerate space launch cadence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of related experience; master's and 8+ years; PhD or JD and 5+ years.
• 5 years managing teams/projects acquiring, maintaining, and sustaining integrated solutions for mission-critical applications.
• Experience delivering multiple simultaneous modernization initiatives.
• Demonstrated proficiency in communicating with customers to understand operational requirements and translate them into project plans.
• Familiarity with mission-critical data network operations, maintenance, and sustainment.

Responsibilities

• In support of the government program office, the Project Manager leads execution of Technical Direction Letters (TDLs) including cost, schedule, performance and technical requirements.
• Acts as the program's face-to-the-customer, negotiating issues and ensuring successful completion of project activities.
• Leads a multi-functional team including mission, hardware and software engineering, sustainment, logistics, security and support specialists.
