Job summary

Relative Dynamics is seeking a Flight Safety Analyst to join the Safety & Mission Assurance Office at Wallops Flight Facility, VA. You will assess flight hazards, develop risk analyses, and contribute to safety plans from definition to launch and operations.

The role requires 5+ years in orbital/sub-orbital risk analysis, strong communication, and collaboration with senior analysts. NASA-related program with on-site work at Wallops Island.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Mathematics is required.
• 5+ years of experience in orbital and sub-orbital vehicle risk analysis is required.
• Excellent oral communication and technical writing skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Identify flight hazards and controls to mitigate hazards.
• Perform risk studies and prepare risk analyses and flight safety plans.
• Coordinate and present technical briefings to review panels and management.
• Adhere to mission criteria and range safety requirements.
