Job summary

VTG Defense is seeking an experienced Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) to join its team in Chantilly, VA. This role requires a TS/SCI clearance with Poly and a Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields. The ISSE will be responsible for conducting security engineering throughout the system lifecycle, integrating security requirements into projects.

With a focus on Space System experience, this position offers an estimated salary range of $165,000 to $210,000 annually. Ideal candidates will possess at least 8 years of relevant IA experience and certifications such as CISSP or CISM.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years IA relevant experience.
• TS/SCI with Poly required.
• Technical experience in configuring Windows, Linux, Unix, and Mac systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct IS security engineering activities throughout the lifecycle.
• Capture and refine information protection requirements for IS acquisitions.
• Integrate security functional requirements into acquisition lifecycle phases.
