Job summary

VTG Defense is seeking Information System Security Engineers (ISSEs) in Chantilly, VA. These roles focus on conducting security engineering activities and refining protection requirements throughout the lifecycle of systems.

The ideal candidates will possess relevant IA experience, required certifications, and a bachelor's degree in a related field. The estimated starting pay range is $100,000 to $210,000 annually.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with Poly required.
• Bachelor's degree relevant to computer engineering, INFOSEC, or computer science.
• 0 - 4 years relevant IA experience and IAM Level I Certification.
• 5 - 9 years relevant IA experience and IAM Level II Certification.
• 10+ relevant IA experience and IAM Level III Certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct IS security engineering activities throughout the lifecycle.
• Capture and refine information protection requirements.
• Integrate security requirements into acquisitions and development.
• Participate in Space Computer Security requirement reviews.

Skills

Security engineering best practices

Knowledge of ICD 503

Experience with COTS technology

Understanding of virtualization platforms
