Job summary

VTG Defense is seeking an experienced Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) to support IS security engineering activities. The role entails capturing and refining security requirements for IS acquisitions, and requires strong experience in Space Systems and various security certifications.

Potential candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree and have at least 8 years of relevant experience. The position is available in multiple locations, including Fort Meade, MD, and offers a salary range of $165,000 to $210,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree relevant to computer engineering, INFOSEC, information management, and/or computer science.
• Minimum 8+ years IA relevant experience.
• Configuring and supporting Windows, Linux, Unix, and Mac systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct IS security engineering activities throughout the lifecycle.
• Capture and refine information protection requirements.
• Integrate security functional requirements into IS acquisitions.
