Job summary

VTG Defense is seeking an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) to support multiple locations, including Chantilly VA and Lompoc CA, with overall responsibility for security engineering across the lifecycle.

The role requires space system experience and TS/SCI with Poly, along with deep knowledge of ICD 503 and accreditation processes. The position involves integrating security into acquisitions and development with a focus on robust protection measures.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with Poly required and space system experience desired.
• Bachelor's degree relevant to computer engineering, INFOSEC, information management, and/or computer science.
• Minimum 8+ years IA relevant experience.
• Knowledge of ICD 503 and government certification/ accreditation processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct IS security engineering activities throughout the lifecycle.
• Capture and refine information protection requirements for IS acquisitions and development.
• Integrate security functional requirements into acquisition lifecycle phases, milestones and documents.
