Job summary

Vast, in Long Beach, is seeking an Information Systems Support Specialist to ensure our internal systems run smoothly. You’ll be the first contact for tech issues, delivering fast, reliable solutions and supporting ERP, MES, PLM and engineering tools.

You will join a fast-paced, aerospace-focused environment, collaborating across departments, solving complex problems, and contributing to a scalable ITSM process across multiple locations in a full-time role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in IT or Information Systems support.
• Experience handling tickets in a service desk.
• Proven experience with ITSM tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Exhibits excellent cross collaboration communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve difficult technical issues with limited information.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 Support for all VAST Enterprise Systems, including ERP, MES, PLM and other engineering systems.
• 80% of time spent providing L1/L2 support for all VAST Enterprise Systems, 20% of time assisting with project related work.
• First point of contact/line of support for any software/application support needed.
• License provisioning for engineering systems and corporate systems.
• Monitor, respond and resolve incidents in an ITSM system while ensuring SLA performance metrics are met, e.g., Jira SM, ZenDesk.
• Learn how to triage project requests on top of day-to-day L1/L2 support.
• Strong understanding of the enterprise system landscape and functional knowledge of processes.
• Strong collaboration skills with multiple departments and stakeholders.
• Provide support for multiple locations.
