Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Dulles, VA, is seeking a Cable & Harness Technician – Level 1 or Level 2 to fabricate and assemble complex space flight harnesses from engineering drawings and wire lists. This 100% onsite role involves hands-on assembly in an ESD-controlled environment and requires familiarity with connector types and shielding practices.

The position supports a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off; you’ll collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers, Quality Assurance, and Production

Qualifications

• Reading, interpreting, and executing tasks from complex engineering drawings, wire lists, schematics, and instructions.
• Familiarity with cable shielding, shielding braid/drain wires, and connector assembly.
• Maintaining quality in ESD-controlled environments and following FOD policies.
• Experience with basic shop floor documentation and office tools.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble complex space flight cable and harness assemblies from drawings and schematics.
• Work in an ESD/FOD controlled area with proper PPE and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers, Quality Assurance, and Production Planners.
• Report to Manufacturing Manager and work both independently and as part of a team.
