Job summary

Astranis Space Technologies in San Francisco is offering a Winter 2027 Hardware Test Intern position. You will work with the engineering team to design, write and test embedded software for satellites and ground control systems.

This role is for students pursuing a BS/MS in CS/EE/CE, with experience in Python and C++, and a track record of designing and testing software from scratch. Previous exposure to embedded systems or RTOS and FPGA/DSP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical degree
• Experience with Python/C++ and scripting language(s)
• Demonstrated ability to personally design, write, and test software from scratch

• Work with the engineering team to design, write and test software (embedded software running on satellites, as well as variety of ground control and testing software)
