Job summary

Astranis Space Technologies Corp. seeks an Assembly, Integration and Test Intern for Winter 2027. This twelve-week, hourly internship targets students currently enrolled in a four-year university and offers hands-on hardware/software work that contributes to our first satellite program.

Past interns have progressed to full-time roles as Associate Engineers. If you have already graduated from a four-year university, please apply to be an Associate Engineer.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a four-year degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Hands-on hardware development in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong communication, multi-tasking, and prioritization abilities; familiarity with spacecraft systems.

Responsibilities

• Work on an interdisciplinary team to design, build, and test satellite hardware and software.
• Develop assembly and integration test plans with Electrical, Mechanical, RF, and Propulsion engineering teams.
• Learn to use test equipment (thermal chambers, vibration tables, DAQs, oscilloscopes) to execute test plans.
• Coordinate assembly, integration and environmental test efforts.
