Job summary

Astranis is seeking an Assembly, Integration, and Test Intern for Summer 2027 in San Francisco. You will join an interdisciplinary team to design, build, and test satellite hardware and software, gaining hands-on experience on space-flight hardware.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a four-year degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Strong hands-on hardware development interest in a fast-paced space environment.
• Good multitasking and prioritization abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork oriented.

Responsibilities

• Work on an interdisciplinary team to design, build, and test satellite hardware and software.
• Collaborate with Electrical, Mechanical, RF, and Propulsion teams to develop test plans.
• Learn to use test equipment (thermal chambers, oscilloscopes, DAQs) to execute plans.
• Coordinate assembly, integration, and environmental test activities.
