Job summary

Astranis in San Francisco is offering a Flight Software Intern role for Summer 2027. You will collaborate with the engineering team to design, write, and test software for satellites and related ground control software, applying C/C++ and scripting skills.

Internships are twelve weeks, hourly roles for students currently enrolled at a four-year university. U.S. citizenship or equivalent status is required to comply with space tech regulations.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical degree.
• Experience with C/C++ and scripting language(s).
• Demonstrated ability to design, write, and test software from scratch.
• Bonus: embedded systems, RTOS, FPGA or DSP experience.
