Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems Manufacturing is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer for second shift and a weekend schedule to support spaceflight hardware testing at the Huntsville, AL, factory. You will plan and execute electrical test operations, develop automated test scripts, procedures, and related documentation, coordinating with Planning, Production Control, Engineers, and Operations Leads.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; 0+ years experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage testing to meet project schedules.
  • Use MES software (Solumina) for executing test plans.
  • Generate/modify test routings in Solumina.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement projects.
  • Identify and reduce risks in production testing processes.
  • Execute Configuration & Data Management processes & controls.
  • Define manufacturing processes and production flow for test of space products.
  • Resolve problems related to production jobs (config changes, material issues, etc).
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Operations Leads, and Inventory Control.
  • Complete requirements verification and validation documentation and reports.
  • Debug software and/or hardware with various tools.
