Leidos’ Defense Systems Manufacturing Segment is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer for Second Shift (Hours 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, includes a 30 minute lunch) and Weekend (Friday through Sunday) to join our National Space Systems Integration & Test team located in Huntsville, AL. As a Manufacturing Test Engineer you will participate in leading in the planning/execution of electrical test operations and will be responsible for developing automated test scripts, procedures, and other documentation needed to conduct spaceflight hardware testing at the factory. This position will require frequent coordination with Planning & Production Control, Engineers, and Operations Leads to ensure that testing will occur as planned.

As a Manufacturing Test Engineer you will be overseeing and optimizing the production process, from raw materials to finished products, to ensure efficiency and quality. The type of material is expected to be electronic, electro-mechanical, and mechanical. This position will require frequent coordination with Planning & Production Control, Engineers, and Operations Leads to ensure that material will be available when needed and that proper documentation is in place for floor operations.
