Job summary

Mclaurin Aerospace in Houston, TX seeks a Space Hardware Project Engineer to join NASA Johnson Space Center’s JETS II contract team. You will design, test, and verify space hardware and support the Engineering Directorate in a dynamic environment.

You will develop test procedures, perform hardware testing, document configurations, and generate technical paperwork with TPS, DR, and DTP as needed, collaborating with project managers and technicians to ensure mission success.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering from an accredited school or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide design and test support for JSC Engineering Directorate.
• Develop test procedures and verification/validation processes.
• Test and verify flight hardware.
• Maintain baseline test configurations and document changes.
• Prepare TPS, DR, and DTP as needed.
• Collaborate with project managers and technicians.
• Troubleshoot hardware and support test hardware.
