Job summary

Rocket Lab Corp. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 at its Wallops Island, Virginia site. You will support developing processes and equipment for the Neutron launch vehicle and work with the Neutron Vehicle Integration Engineer to ensure successful integration and launch activities.

You’ll gain hands-on engineering experience in a fast-paced team, with mentorship, tech talks, and networking opportunities throughout the internship.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in engineering, physics or math with at least one semester remaining.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Support developing processes and equipment for Neutron launch vehicle.
• Collaborate with the Neutron Vehicle Integration Engineer and teams to deliver results.
• Assist receipt, integration and launch activities for the vehicle.
• Attend regular mentor 1:1s and progress updates.
