Job summary

Rocket Lab is seeking a Fluid Systems Intern in Long Beach, CA to support the team responsible for hardware between the tanks and engine. You will design, build, test, analyze, and possibly fly critical hardware alongside a mentorship-driven environment.

Ideal candidates will thrive in ambiguity, lead development projects without supervision, and collaborate across departments to deliver results while gaining practical engineering experience.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a degree program in engineering, physics or math with at least one semester remaining after internship.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internships, labs, or projects).

Responsibilities

• Support the Fluid Systems team in solving problems affecting Neutron hardware.
• Assist in design, build, test, analyze, and potentially fly critical hardware.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver results on development projects.
