Job summary

Astranis is seeking an Assembly, Integration, and Test Intern for Summer 2027 to contribute to hands-on hardware and software work on satellite projects at our Northern California facility. Interns typically engage in 12-week programs and gain experience across test systems and procedures.

Work with Electrical, Mechanical, RF, and Propulsion teams to develop and execute test plans, using equipment like thermal chambers, vibration tables, and DAQs, while learning how Astranis designs, builds, and

Qualifications

• Pursuing a four-year degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Hands-on hardware development in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
• Familiarity with spacecraft systems and operation.
• Onsite 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Work on an interdisciplinary team to design, build, and test satellite hardware and software.
• Collaborate with Electrical, Mechanical, RF, Propulsion teams to develop test plans.
• Learn to use test equipment and instruments (thermal chambers, vibration tables, DAQs, oscilloscopes) to execute tests.
• Coordinate assembly, integration and environmental test efforts.
