Job summary

Astranis is seeking an Assembly, Integration and Test Intern for Winter 2027 to contribute to satellite hardware and software development. You will work on an interdisciplinary team and help design, build, and test components for spaceflight hardware.

As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience with test equipment, coordinate test activities, and learn about integration and environmental testing while pursuing a four-year engineering degree.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a four-year degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
• Hands-on hardware design and development
• Ability to manage multiple tasks
• Strong communication skills
• Familiarity with spacecraft systems

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test satellite hardware and software with interdisciplinary team
• Develop assembly and integration test plans with engineering teams
• Learn to use test equipment to execute test plans
• Coordinate assembly, integration and environmental test efforts
