Job summary

Astranis in San Francisco invites engineering students to join as Assembly, Integration and Test Intern (Winter 2027). You will work on interdisciplinary teams to design, build, and test satellite hardware and software.

This twelve-week, onsite internship offers hands-on hardware development experience, exposure to test equipment, and potential full-time opportunities; base pay is $29/hour.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a four-year degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong hands-on hardware development interest.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Familiar with spacecraft systems and operations.
• Onsite 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Work on interdisciplinary team to design, build, and test satellite hardware and software.
• Develop assembly/integration/test plans with engineering teams.
• Learn to use test equipment to execute test plans.
• Coordinate assembly, integration, and environmental test efforts.

Education

Pursuing a four-year degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
