Job summary

Auria Space seeks an experienced Program Director to lead a complex U.S. Space Force ground architecture framework and integration effort from Washington DC/Northern Virginia, with remote consideration for qualified candidates.

The role oversees scope, cost, schedule, staffing, risk, and customer engagement while aligning with cloud-native, secure architectures. Applicants should have DoD/program leadership experience, MOSA/open-architecture familiarity, and a proven ability to translate mission

Qualifications

• Current U.S. Government Secret clearance and ability to obtain TS/SCI; U.S. Citizenship required.
• Minimum 7 years of program or technical leadership experience in complex software/space-ground/system-of-systems programs.
• Experience leading Government/industry programs with multiple technical organizations and vendors.
• Working understanding of cloud-based software in Government environments and MOSA/open-architecture principles.
• Ability to translate technical issues into executive-level programmatic recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary Government interface and accountable program leader.
• Lead end-to-end program execution including scope, cost, schedule, staffing, quality, and deliverables.
• Establish and maintain an integrated WBS, IMS, milestones, dependencies, and cost forecasts.
• Integrate program management and systems engineering activities across requirements, architecture, and verification.
• Lead a complex system-of-systems integration environment with Government and commercial stakeholders.
• Understand satellite ground systems and mission operations to align planning and control activities.
• Collaborate with engineering leads to translate decisions into executable plans and schedules.
• Drive MOSA-based, API-driven integration with reusable interfaces and modular architectures.
• Oversee third-party integration, onboarding, interface definition, and dependency management.
• Proactively manage risks and opportunities; escalate issues requiring Government or corporate decisions.
